Last Day of January

Well, today I took the hardest test of my life.  It was the entrance exam to one of the nursing schools here in town.  God would have to pull a miracle for me to have past that test!  I am trying to stay positive but it's just the feeling I get!

Anyway, on a lighter note, it was the 100th Day of Kindergarden yesterday.  Nick and his class did alot of activities all themed around 100.  He made a necklace out of Fruit Loops with 100 pieces. aa craft the spelt out 100 with marshmallows and alot more!

Valentine Shoot

This morning I took Cody to have his Valentine pictures taken by Photography By Christina.  Cody was not in the mood for pictures at all... these pictures show his sly/sneaky personality!  Smiles or not they still came out adorable!  Nicholas' will have pictures done soon too!

For dinner I made this yummy Chicken Picatta at my parents house... it turned out soooo yummy!

I found the boys watching a video on the computer together and had to snap... then afterwards they were being silly!  They so love each other!

Fabulous Sunday

Today my nephew Austin baby-sat so that I could get together with my school friends... we call ourselves the, "FAB 5".. Love these ladies and I could not have got through nursing school without the cheering me on every step of the way!  We went to have Olive Garden!  Yummy it was!!

Brrrrr...irthday Party!

Today we took the boys to their friend Kaidon's birthday party at the YMCA.  The boys had a blast!  Once again Chrissy did a fabulous job with her theme... she always goes all out!

Anniversary Dinner!

Yesterday was our 10th Wedding Anniversary so today we were able to go out to dinner... we had a great time!

I had this drink... it was yummy but way to strong for me... EEEEK!

A Little Move

Today I helped my parents pack a few things... well, I actually packed 3 boxes of Nick-Nacs to take to the new house.  My brother and nephew came over and they moved alot of furniture over... the house is looking good and bigger than it looks with no furniture!

This evening I made Chicken w/ Mushroom Alfredo over Linguine  & Corn.  Everyone pigged out it was so yummy!

Today Cody discovered the Grapefruit... he ate the whole thing!  I helped him with the pieces but he fed himself.  I was trying to get a picture before he put the fruit in his mouth but he is quick!

Fat Tuesday

Well, we didn't to do much today.  I actually had a headache for laid around for most of the morning... then I washed clothes and did a little cleaning!

That evening I went to the gym with Rachel and Chrissy.  Rachel and I did great on the thread-mill... we were pooped... but still managed to do the 12 minute Abs!

When I got home Cody decided that he wanted to wear my make-up... is her cute or what?

Retail Therapy

My parents and I went out to have lunch at Generales... it was yummy!  Then my mom and I went out to do a little retail therapy.  We went to order her furniture which will be delivered on Thursday!  I hope it looks as pretty as this picture in her living room... if not, she has 3 days to send it back and go with our 2nd choice!

After shopping, I picked up the boys and that night went to the gym.... not to much of an exciting evening but just blessed that we are all here together!

Jewelry Party

I hosted a "Premier" jewelry party this afternoon and thought that I was not going to do good at all because a few people cancelled and then I had some no shows... which I think is really rude not to call the host to say you can't make it!  Anyway, the party was alot of fun and I did well.  I get like $150 of FREE jewelry!  YAY ME!

After the party the boys came home and then I left with Chrissy to go workout at the gym.  The gym time is going really well.  I like the new gym alot!

Austin Trip

Well, we took Nicholas to Austin today so that he could have his 1st trip to the Lego store.  He was in HEAVEN!!  It was a fun store... you could buy cups of lego pieces or whole sets... you can even make your very own lego people.  It was a fun time!

While is Austin, I got to go to my favorite all time scrapbook store, Archiver's!  I bought a few things and didn't go over board as usual so I was proud of myself.  Although, I wanted the whole store.  LOL

We headed back to San Antonio and were going to stop at Cabela's but everyone fell asleep so we just came on home.

I got my official license in the mail today and I can't wait to frame it!  I am so proud of myself!

The girls came over to scrap this evening and we had fun as usual.  I worked on Valentine cards for a swap I am in... I worked on baby shower invites too!  I think I know what to do now!
